This series of butterfly mandalas were created using images of various species of butterflies, moths and other insects. I began with my own original image of a grasshopper then digitally altered the image to create an abstract mandala that mimics the insects’ own natural symmetry.

This is a18x24 inch photograph, mounted to cradled wooden board and coated with high quality art resin.  My apologies as I do not have a photo of this in it's resin form, but trust me, it is amazing!
