This series of mandalas were created using images of various species of butterflies, moths and other insects. I began with my own original image of a shield insecct then digitally altered the image to create an abstract mandala that mimics the insects’ own natural symmetry.

This is a 6x6 inch photograph, mounted to cradled wooden board and coated with high quality art resin.
