In the week leading up to the election, I decided to occupy my mind with a self imposed "challenge" - making a collage a day for 7 days in a row. Challenges are a great way to focus on taking risks, and working more intuitively. After just few days of this challenge I got pretty burnt out, and started "reworking" pieces that I had never been able to finish. You can tell I've had these wings for a while- they've seen better days. In the past I really struggled to create a piece using these wings that wasn't too 'loud'. I finally nailed it with this collage and it's definitely my favorite from the challenge!
This is a 6x6inch photograph, mounted to cradled wooden board and coated with high quality art resin.
This piece is available in larger sizes and a variety of finishes HERE.
