Do I have a favorite insect?  Absolutely!

Lanternflys are by far my favorite.  Their wings always have a ton of variation in color and pattern and they even have "horns" that light up when in danger.  This is one of my favorite lanternflies of all time.

This digital collage was created by photographing the lanternfly,  I then created multiple "mandalas" from the original photograph, and began to layer them, as if I was making an analog collage.
