Last winter I went on a dragonfly "spree".  I emailed Bic Bugs, who I purchase wings from, and asked her for whatever damaged and discarded dragonfly wings she had.  I could not believe the specimens she sent!  Who knew red dragonflys were actually a thing?

This is one of the rare pieces where I've used two separate insects to create just one mandala.  I tried using both of these wings as single images, but they both just needed something. They needed eachother! 

This is a 6x6 inch photograph, mounted to cradled wooden board and coated with high quality art resin.
