I love the simplicity of this insect! Just a few colors and lines can make the most outstanding pieces! 

This was created by photographing a white and gold butterfly.  I then created multiple "mandalas" from the original photograph, and began to layer them, as if I was making an analog collage.  

This is a 6x8 inch photograph, mounted to cradled wooden board and coated with high quality art resin.
